As our baby boom population becomes of age, we are on the edge of a trend that will last for decades to come. By providing unique and affordable services, our full or part service menu allows seniors to select only the services they need.
We watch for frayed electrical cords on old lamps, clocks and appliances. When packing, we discard outdated cans of food and expired medicines. We alert clients to broken bed slats, loose or damaged chair and table legs.
We give away night-lights and put them in high-risk areas. Eyeglasses, phones & phone books, important papers, and important food, medicine & clothes are packed separately and put on last. When resettling, we will put shelf paper in the kitchen.
Downsizing:
Depending on the size of your move and the services you have selected we will generally begin preparation and downsizing 1-2 weeks prior to the scheduled move.
This will allow time to prepare a floor plan for the furniture to determine beforehand what items may need to be distributed among family members, placed in storage, or downsized.
Packing:
Depending on the services you have selected, and the size of your move, preparation and packing will generally begin 1-3 days prior to the scheduled move, leaving selected necessities for your use until the scheduled move date.
If you are transferring from one room into another room within a facility, we will lightly pack your items on the day of the scheduled move.
